York County seniors prepare for prom: Dates, locations and more

April signals the start of prom season, with graduation commencement ceremonies following close behind.

Seniors are preparing for their end-of-school celebrations now, with end-of-year-formal dances starting April 19. A few weeks later, graduations kick off on May 23.

Here's a list of the prom dates:

Northeastern students kick off the prom season from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. April 19 at Wisehaven. 

York Tech students will dance the night away from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 26 at Wisehaven Event Center. 

York Catholic’s prom is on April 26 at the Outdoor Country Club.

Red Lion's senior prom is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 27 at Wisehaven.

West York's prom starts at 6 p.m. on April 27 at Outdoor Country Club.

Hanover Public seniors will dance from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 3 at The Hanover Country Club.

Eastern York's prom will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 3 at Eden Resort Suites.

Spring Grove students’ prom is 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 3 at Wisehaven Event Center.

Eastern York's prom is May 3.

Dallastown's prom is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 4 at the Wisehaven Event Center.

Southern York’s prom starts at 6 p.m. on May 4 at The Valencia Ballroom.

York City's prom runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on May 11 at Heritage Hills.

South Western students' prom starts at 7 p.m. on May 11.

Cedar Cliff students will celebrate their prom from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 11 at Penn Harris Hotel. Students begin arriving at 5 p.m. 

Dover Area’s prom is from 6 to 10 p.m. on May 11 at The Valencia Ballroom.

Doors open at 5:45p.m. on May 17 for York Academy students’ prom at Agricultural & Industrial Museum, History Center. Prom starts at 6:30 p.m. with a Hollywood Premier theme. 

Central York seniors’ prom starts at 6:30 p.m. on May 18 at The Valencia Ballroom. 

Red Land’s prom is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 18 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel.

Northern York students will celebrate their prom from 6 to 10 p.m. on May 18 at the Barn on Carlisle Sports Emporium. 

Here's a list of graduation dates:

York Catholic's graduation starts at 7 p.m. on May 23 at York Catholic. A baccalaureate will be the night before at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church York. 

York Academy’s graduation is at 7 p.m. on May 23 at the Upper School, 2 Hamilton Ave. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The school will also have a Senior Decision Day on May 1 in the morning where students will announce where they are going.

York Tech students’ ceremony starts at 5 p.m. on May 23 at the York Expo Center. 

West York's students’ ceremony starts at 7 p.m. on May 23  in the West York High School Stadium. It will be moved indoors if it is raining. 

Red Lion graduation starts at 6:45 p.m. on May 24 in Horn Field. 

Hanover Public seniors’ graduation starts at 7 p.m. on May 30 at Sheppard and Myers Stadium.

Northern York seniors' graduation starts at 7:30 p.m. on May 30 at Christian Life Assembly.

Northeastern seniors start arriving for graduation at 5:45 p.m. on May 29 with the ceremony kicking off at 6:30 p.m. in the Bobcat Stadium. The rain date is set for May 30 with the same times.

Central York students' graduation starts at 6:45 p.m. on May 31 at the Panther Stadium on the high school campus. 

Eastern York's seniors will graduate May 31.

Spring Grove students' graduation starts at 7 p.m. on May 31 at Papermakers Stadium. If it rains, the ceremony will be moved into the high school gym. 

Dover Area’s graduation is tentatively set at 9 a.m. on June 1 in the district’s stadium. 

Dallastown's graduation ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. on June 4, with a rain date for the following day, at the high school stadium.

Cedar Cliff’s graduation starts at 3 p.m. on June 7 in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. 

Red Land follows at 6:30 p.m. the same day in the same complex.
