Charges dismissed for Newberry Twp. man

A Newberry Township man charged with aggravated assault had his charges dismissed, according to court records.

Jimmy Rickey Lawman, 49, was charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault and false imprisonment on Sept. 9.

During a Wednesday, Sept. 19, preliminary hearing, District Judge Scott Gross dismissed all charges, according to online court records.
